Woman is equal to weaker sex is an old conception. I think women are more powerful and important in Taiwan nowadays. Lots of people like to talk about women than a man. We can see it in popular music lyrics that sing about woman, novels, and TV. Sexual common knowledge: man should protect woman instead violate us, lady first, we are born to dote, we ought to be independent...etc. Women are fortunate in Taiwan, really.

You are right! Women is becoming more capability nowadays than before.
I think it's not enough. I've heard of something bad about women in men's speech. Women's right must be done more quickly...Go~
You are right, but I think there are some problems that it's not unfair for women. The maternity leave is one of the problem.
The unequal pay is also a big problem. This is an issue that many countries struggle to fix. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much discussion on how to fix it.
